I'm devastated. Why is the world so unfair? Why do natural disasters always occur in places where people already struggle for survival and where infrastructure is not fully developed or even worse, absent.
My friend Sushila, who works as a teacher at the SOS Children's Village, outside of Kathmandu, is doing well and we are in touch through Facebook but until today I haven't heard anything from Makhan and my Stars. I pray to mighty powers that they are safe and sound.
