Pollution

One of many happy moments with my Stars. Here we are, buying fiber and vitamins, in a busy street in Kathmandu. Fresh fruit like this, an obvious treat for many, is certainly not an common occurrence for them. Simply, their monthly budget doesn't cover.

Another unfortunate fact is the degrading air quality. According to the 2016 report by the Environment Performance Index, Nepal was ranked 177 among 180 countries in terms of air quality. India, China and Bangladesh are the single countries performing worse.
